apache がインストールされているか確認します。
yum list installed | grep httpd
php がインストールされているか確認します。
yum list installed | grep php
php がインストールされていたら削除します。
yum remove （php のパッケージをスペース区切りで羅列）
オプションを設定したいので yum ではなくソースをインストールします。
PHP のサイトからソースをダウンロードします。
php-5.5.13.tar.gz をダウンロードしました。
WinSCP などで /usr/local/src にコピーします。
tar で解凍し、configure を実行します。
tar xzf php-5.5.13.tar.gz cd /usr/local/src/php-5.5.13 ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs --enable-mbregex --enable-mbstring
https ページへアクセスするなど SSL を使用する場合は –with-openssl を追加します。
postgeSQL を使用する場合は –with-pgsql を追加します。
./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs --enable-mbregex --enable-mbstring --with-openssl --with-pgsql
openssl-devel がインストールされていない場合はインストールします。
yum install openssl-devel
以下のようなエラーが出る場合
Sorry, I cannot run apxs. Possible reasons follow: 1. Perl is not installed 2. apxs was not found. Try to pass the path using --with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs 3. Apache was not built using --enable-so (the apxs usage page is displayed)
apxs がないとのことなので、httpd-devel をインストールします。
yum install httpd-devel
以下のようなエラーが出る場合
configure: error: xml2-config not found. Please check your libxml2 installation.
xml2-config がないとのことなので、libxml2-devel をインストールします。
yum install libxml2-devel
configure が成功したら、以下を実行します。
make;make install
以下のようなエラーが出る場合
-bash: make: command not found -bash: make: command not found
make がないとのことなので、make をインストールします。
yum install make
インストールできたら httpd.conf を編集します。
vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
SetHandler application/x-httpd-php
apache を再起動します。
service httpd restart
web のディレクトリに php ファイルを置いて表示を確認します。
ディレクトリは httpd.conf のドキュメントルートなどを確認します。
確認ページは、phpinfo を表示するページを作ると良いと思います。
test.php
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
表示できない場合は、普通の html ページが表示できるか、
php のエラーが出ていないか、を確認してみてください。

ローカル（Windows）環境の構築
ローカルの Windows 環境で php サーバを構築したい場合は以下をインストールします。
httpd-2.2.22-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8t.msi php-5.2.17-Win32-VC6-x86.msi
IIS などの80番ポートを使うプログラムが起動していると起動できませんのでそれらを停止してください。
